The role
You will take Odoo implementations for our clients in Iraq from discovery to go-live, working with each client's finance, sales, inventory and operations teams. You translate how the business really runs into a standard-first Odoo configuration, and you stay with the project through training and the weeks after launch.
What you'll do
- Lead discovery and requirements workshops with client teams, and document the current process before anything is configured.
- Run fit-gap analysis and propose standard or configured solutions first, with customisation as the last resort.
- Configure Odoo modules, from accounting, sales and purchase to inventory, manufacturing and HR, as the project requires.
- Plan and verify data migration: master data, opening balances and open transactions.
- Prepare UAT scripts, train users by role, and support go-live and the period that follows.
- Brief developers precisely on any approved custom work, and test what they deliver.
What you bring
- Hands-on functional Odoo implementation experience, ideally in accounting and inventory.
- Fluent Arabic and English, written and spoken, and confidence presenting to client management.
- A structured way of working: workshop notes, decisions and configuration are documented.
- Willingness to work at client sites in Iraq as projects require.
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-company or multi-currency Odoo set-ups.
- Experience configuring local accounting and tax requirements.
