Nuevo is a business-to-business IT reseller in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. It sells devices to companies through its Odoo website and tracks serial numbers against every sale. Al Jawad Software House shaped Odoo so that new customers are vetted before they buy, and every device can be followed from delivery to invoice.
Where the work gets hard
Not everyone should be able to buy. A business storefront needs to know who is asking for an account.
Deliveries and invoices rarely match one to one. A delivery can be billed in parts, and the customer later asks which invoice covers which serial number.
Buyers compare before they commit. They want to see what a device platform costs to own.
What we implemented
Company registration and approval
A sign-up on the website creates a registration and checks for a duplicate email. Portal sign-up is limited to email domains already used by an approved company contact. Staff approve a customer through a wizard that creates the company and its authorised person, sends a portal invitation and shows the status to the customer.

From delivery to invoice
We pair each completed delivery with the invoices that billed it, by the quantities of each product, in date order. A delivery split across invoices resolves to all of them. The result drives lot and serial lines on each invoice, an Excel export, and a serial report by customer, delivery, invoice, lot and direction.

A cost-of-ownership tool
A public calculator compares device platforms, saves the result on a sales lead, and sends the customer a bilingual Arabic and English PDF and email.
The website
Al Jawad also designed and built Nuevo's website and wrote its content.
How the work gets easier
| The usual way | With the new process |
|---|---|
| Account requests are checked by email | Staff approve in a guided step |
| Serial numbers are matched to invoices by hand | Odoo pairs deliveries with invoices |
| Comparisons are sent as loose files | The calculator sends a report and keeps a record on the lead |
Sales and support answer serial-number questions from the system.
